Default Variable Speed Good?

ok i have settled on the SK-7 i think its the best heatsink for me but im having troubles deciting on a fan and since im going to get the heatsink from www.svc.com i want to get a fan from there too, i heard the 80x25mm variable speed YS-Tech case fan is good but i dont know about the variable speed part http://www.svc.com/convarspeedc.html

That one would probably do you fine, but...

I use an Enermax fan (here) with a Thermalright AX-7 on a T-Bird 1.4. This Enermax has similar specs to yours -- it does okay, but I sometimes wish I could turn it up more (it has a peak CFM of 46, just under the 48.7 of the one you pointed out). It is variable, but I never turn it down. The CPU runs in the low 40's for temp (with the fan on full) with the case 19-22C.

I know it's ugly, but the Thermaltake Smart Case Fan 2 ($10 at SVC) would offer you more range. Just make sure you run it in manual, not auto mode. But like I said, if it's just too butt ugly, that YS Tech would probably be fine.

Nice choice on the heatsink, by the way.

And I'm sure you know this, but for any newcomers reading along, don't forget to pick up some Arctic Silver III.
