MIT fan

My friend Caitlin Williams gave me a HSF with a peltier.
She used it to cool the Pentium MMX 233 that is used in her homemade router.
She said that the fan is starting to wear out because the overheat alarm keeps on going off at random times.
She found another HSF in the parts bin to replace the one that is starting to wear out, so she gave me the old one.
As I am about to peel back the sticker to oil the fan, I noticed that the sticker said MIT.
The blades are curved in a funky way.
The fan did work like new once I oiled it.

I am not sure what the MIT stands for, but that fan is made by AVC, they are a well known commercial FAN manufacturer.
Just not real popular or well known in our circles.
