i assume you are running an Athlon your best bet is this i think

SK7- from SVC Compucycle, its on sale for 19.99, it also score 2nd place in Overclockers.com

as for the fans, check out YS techs, variable speed 80mm X25mm fan, runs from 10CFM up to 50CMF also at SVC Compucycle for 8.99

Otherwise for decent and quiet cooling, stick with a Panaflo or a Vantec Stealth fan.

EDIT- Killing the typo demon!!

then i suggest the Thermalright SK7, it's all copper, and takes an 80mm fan, it's about $35 shipped with no fan but it's and excellent cooler, and quiet with the big fan.

EDIT: Good Find Scapegoat, i just did a quick search, and that was the average.

I have an SK7 and am very impressed with the cooling. I love being able to slap a high CFM 80mm on it. I have other heatsinks, including the infamous SK6, but none hold a candle to the cooling ability of the SK7.

Volcano 9. It's cheap and its very good. I get temps in the mid 30's with this bad boy on 1300RPM @ 20db on my 1800+ T-Bred.

go for a Evercool Fan, they are medium air flow, and absolutley quite. They do have a nasty whine on their 60mm and 70mm fans though . On their 80mm fans they have a nice low sounding groan and are very quite. I like the low groan on mine, it sounds manly.

thats good because when i get my 2400+ in i think ill need the extra cooling, and hopfully when i get my new case and rheobus it will go down even more, right now im on PR and its 39, with the side off, and i heard that when the side is off it will make the temp go up cause the airflow will stop, but the problem with my case is when i have the side on it has no airflow anyways and temp goes up. thats why i keep it off. Theres also somthing about PR eversince BIOHASERDPC told be about this site that i have gotten really into cooling, but anyways thanks for everyone who has helped me with my cooling questions.

Well if you are going with the SK7 it fits a 70MM and 80MM fan, so basicly it depends on your needs,

Does noise matter much to you? If not you can get a nice loud Vantec Tordando, or Delta....@ 85CFM this will keep your Proc nice and cool. once you get your Rheobus too you can turn the speed down a bit to save your sanity too
