That Tornado actually could be used if you combine it with a rheostat like here for some killer cooling...turn it up when you're gaming/not around and turn it down when you're there. At 4k RPM those things are relatively quiet and put out some good CFM.

See i worked hard ona good constructive post.

Noslak, those aluminum fans may be cool at first but eventually they pick up a slight rattle. Mainly on the larger fans, although my 80mm's have been the leasted affected by this.

Yeah, the Vantec Stealth is a nice quiet fan -- 27CFM at 21dBA. By the way, the link you posted was to the 60mm version; here's the 80 (we knew what you meant):

EDIT: Also, hoot, you may want to check out BestByte.net and SVC; they both give airflow and noise specs for most fans, and usually have decent prices to boot. For some specific fans to check out, try the aforementioned Vantec Stealth, the Panaflo 12L, the Enermax Whisper Fan, and the Zalman ZM-F1 Noiseless. They're all good quality name-brand fans designed to be pretty quiet.

Sorry about that, I was wondering why the CFM was so low at 12. But at least you knew what I meant

Heres a Sunon 80mm fan that does 39CFM at 32dBA:

I will lay off you when you quit the sarcastic crap and do something constructive. I don't think that's too much to ask.

When things are heating up, just calm down and laugh it off...going through life getting pissed at the dumbest things would be a waste.
