| ok, i was using an infrared thermometer to verify the accuracy of the temps that i was getting from my mobo's onboard sensors (asus a7n8x-x). i was very pleased to learn that the mobo was pretty darned accurate. however, i've just switched mobos (now running an abit nf7-s rev.2), and i no longer work for the company that owns the thermometer that i was using. i'm in the market for something to measure the temps of my components. i was considering buying an infrared thermometer, and decided that i would seek the sage advice of the pimps. any suggestions? | ||

| I use MBM coupled with CoolMon. CoolMon actually just uses some DLL files (or sumptin) from MBM to get the temp readings, you dont actually have to leave it running. They suggest that you dont. Coolmon is configured to toss all that info up onto my desktop. Better than trying to squint at that little text in the taskbar and Coolmon uses less resources than MBM anyway. | ||
