Default Whats the best fan to use?

I just got a Thermaltake 10+ (dropped my temps from 60ish to just under 40 on full load) http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...106-030&depa=0

I was wondering if there is a better fan to use for this heatsink? the heatsink dimensions are 67x60x28.8mm and the current fan dimensions are 60x60x10mm

NOISE IS NOT A PROBLEM

I know of an aluminium fan that either thermaltake or coolermaster do. It is hevaey compared to plastic fans, but it acts as a heatsink itself, aswell as pushing some serious CFM. Will catch a link if i find 1.

well if you mean it when you say you dont care about noise this tornado is the best:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...999-612&depa=1

coupled with my thermalright slk947U i'm gettin 25 idle 29 load on a 2800+ athlon, which i feel is pretty damn good for a 2800

if you want something a little more conservative i would suggest this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...999-011&depa=1

it's not as loud but still has decent airflow. i bought one when i got my heatsink just so's I would have a backup if i didn't like the noise. in all reality, I would suggest getting a tornado and a speed control. That way you can just turn the noise down when you aren't doing anything too processor dependent.

Will those fit on a heatsink that is only 60MM? Seems kinda odd that a 90MM or a 80MM fan would fit... i guess if it comes with a converter type thing it'd work... that tornado looks pretty nice though...

Get a 60 to 80 adapter at Compusa, they are like 4 bucks.

Easier said than done, being that the closest Comp USA is about 2 hours away

yeh you have 2 options i guess. first take one of these:

60 to 80 mm adapter, and take one of theese babys:

titan 80mm aluminuim cooler.

or i reconend a coolermaster aero, as they cool the entire heatsink instead of leaving a large circle in the middle uncooled:

oh that's nothing you should see my Thermalright. it's literally bolted to my cpu. I have to take out the motherboard to remove it. And in a lanboy that's much easier said than done.

Uh.. NO
It's not making any contact with the CPU itself ! It is like saying your aluminum case gives you better temperatures because it acts as a "giant heatsink." It is just wrong

EDIT: I found it on Newegg :-) 3/4 of the price of sidewinder cheap Delta Screamer 9 bucks

I must say the Aero HSF set does work pretty well.. I'm curious how it'd work if I moved the Aero's fan to say, an SLK 800 or something
