Default Cooling 9800xt

I have a 9800xt and i'm sure as you know, this thing runs pretty hot?? What do you think of putting zalman heasink/fan on the gpu, and thermaltake ram heatsinks on the ram??

YES! DO IT! IT's always a good idea to cool a video card, especially one like that...

Why not just make the whole system wet? and be able to clock the works to 3.6ghz and the card to the moon?

That GPU runs at around 75watts right ?

That's about the same as a lot of CPUs these days.

So I suppose you should take a similar approach.

And if I transposed the two, I can't say that I would turn too a passive HS in order to improve cooling on my CPU. I might if I were trying to go near-silent, but I wouldn't if I were trying to lower my temps.

I would consider ducting it in order to maximize air cooling.

Gotta agree there...Case air flow management is still a must, even if you went the water route. Zalmans site will tell ya that extra cooling with that huge HeatPipe is nessasary as well...
On the system below I have an 80mm ducted to the mosfet's and a 120mm fromt intake as well, and it's all H2O.
