| That GPU runs at around 75watts right ? That's about the same as a lot of CPUs these days. So I suppose you should take a similar approach. And if I transposed the two, I can't say that I would turn too a passive HS in order to improve cooling on my CPU. I might if I were trying to go near-silent, but I wouldn't if I were trying to lower my temps. I would consider ducting it in order to maximize air cooling. | ||

Gotta agree there...Case air flow management is still a must, even if you went the water route. Zalmans site will tell ya that extra cooling with that huge HeatPipe is nessasary as well... On the system below I have an 80mm ducted to the mosfet's and a 120mm fromt intake as well, and it's all H2O. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
