Hey guys and gals I havn't been on in awhile, but I'm looking to make a laptop cooler for my Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7901.
It has an AMD proc. so runs hot, I'm thinking of using a Peltieh (spelling?) device to cool the incoming air a bit.

Knowing me It'll prolly end up being some whacked out refrigeration contraption. I'm not looking for transportability, I use my lappy as my TV with an Avermedia cable converter and also play some games soo I got alot of time on it per day. (get home around 4 or 5pm and go to bed at 11 or 12pm)

I know the factory cooling setup is good enough but I just don't like the HOT air coming out the vent! Like 130F

Just lookin for ideas on what kind of frankenstien cooling setup I could do "for cheap"????

The hot side of a peltier requires cooling and the cold side builds up ice so I'm not so sure that's a good idea.
How about few silent 120mm fans? Built into a nice modded "pad"?

putting some good compound like Arctic Silver 5 under the heatsinks brought my temps down by 8 degrees. Also make sure theres good air flow underneath.
