| I just bought a koolance exos water kooler kit and was wondering about the advantages of all the extras.I got the cpu coller and the hard drive cooler.I dont have that big of a heat problem yet but I'm still pushing it to the limits.I just dont want to blow money on a mobo cooler, second hard drive cooler, chipset cooler and so on.Just wanted too see if someone has used this and noticed any gains. | ||

| The northy (mobo) cooler really isn't needed unless you're going for silent running; stock northy coolers or the 3rd party coolers work well enough. Really the HD coolers arn't needed unless you're using a Raptor drive or, again, are going for the silent rig. The GPU (video card) cooler on the other hand would give you a nice little boost on your GPU OC... | ||

| I agree. I would likely not water cool northbridges or HDDs (even raptors), unless you are purely going for pimp value. Edit: try Motherboard monitor instead of Asus Probe. Telling us temps without including the processor type, ambient temp, and whether or not it is overclocked ......... pretty useless. | ||

| He's got an Athlon 2600+ @ 2.5ghz according to his sig (PITA to read...) Ambient would be nice though... with that OC however I'd remove the HD waterblock and think alot before I add a GPU; with an Exos anyways. Those temps are pretty high for watercooling and IMO if you add a GPU block watch the temps because they will go up. | ||

| Well for full pimp value then you need to WC everything, take a look at the link below, pure pimpness (even though he isn't a PR member) http://www.zerofanzone.co.uk/ http://www.zerofanzone.co.uk/specs.asp | ||

| Okay I went and bought a Fluke 65 meter with infared temp sensor cuz it pissed me off that nothing was reading accurate as I wanted it to be so my temps are Ambient 71.7f, on cpu 44.2c, mobo19.9, radeon 9800 55c, but after doing alot of reading I want the pimped out look to match my new uv green acrylic case but to I want to see if I'm losing my performance by getting to much pimp i dont want to sacrifice perf for pimp no what I mean. | ||
