Default Normal temperatures?

Hey guys, just wondering what would be considered normal operating temperatures for PCs with stock heatsinks/fans. My Athlon 1200 and 1900+ both idle around 120-130F, depending on ambient temp. The 1900+ has the original AMD heatsink/fan on it,. but the 1200 has an aftermarket one with an 80mm fan. any recommendations? I'm thinking of peltier or water cooling.

Ward, I don't think you were hard enough on the Beaver.

The community uses C temps instead of F temps to report where they are at. You are not bad, but I would not discourage you from watercooling. Don't even think about Pelt cooling, too much trouble for the benefit.

You may see your biggest benefit by getting a good air fan like the Zalman 7000 and some good thermal grease. That's what I would recommend.

Duron 850, TT Volcano 11, 100% load temps are now 42*F and thats with a big Voodoo 5500 heating up the inside of the case, I suppose with something like my Radeon 9K it would be 2 or 3*C cooler

Invest in something, whatever it is make sure it's copper. Huge difference over aluminum. Zalman 7000 is good too.
