Distorted Video With Gygabyte 9800 Pro and ZM80C-HP

Ok, the original heatsink was always burning hot on the video card, but then a couple weeks ago the fan stopped working, so the heat was even more severe. I bought the Zalman ZM80C-HP and installed it, but now the video is distorted. I can still tell a little bit what I'm doing, but it's hard, and with 3D I can't make out anything. I checked the installation, it's all good, the heatpipe isn't touching anything it's not supposed to. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

RMA same thing happend with my 9600Pro yesterday...

EDIT: just as i pressed enter i got an e-mail back from the place i bought it from..there going to replace it wooohooo!!

I had bought my card from newegg.com last august, so their 30 day warranty is up, and I emailed the Gigabyte card manufacturer and they said contact newegg. Gettin the runaround.

I'd go back to Gigabyte...tell them that only mfg warranty applies, and that Newegg's DOA warranty is 30 days. If they don't listen, or try and give you the runaround, then ask to speak to a manager. Keep escalating until you get the results you want.
