Just thought I would take a little time to post my experience so far with this CPU cooler. I first tried the Big typhoon, which did fairly well. The biggest issue with the Typhoon is its size.Very hard to get on/off the board (in my case anyway) without removing the board from the case. With the Ultima 90, once the bolt thru kit is installed (again having to remove the board), install of other coolers is much easier. By looking at the design, it appears one could easily switch to either of the 120 series WITHOUT removing the board. Simply remove the fan/s, unscrew the spring loaded screws and install another cooler with little hassle.

Performance wise, I have seen between a 5-10C difference over the Big typhoon. I have it set up with a 120mm fan blowing in and a 92mm blowing out through the rear exhaust fan. Even with the compartment door closed on my desk, idle temps never exceeded 45C, according to core temp. Considering its small size I am very impressed with its cooling ability and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a small size cooler. I have it in an Antec 900, which is not the best for space. Any questions, feel free to ask.
