| I've got one of the zalman 9700 coolers. Does a good job of keeping things cool. I ran it originally on an opty 146 @ 3ghz easy. Sub 50c temps full load while folding. Currently have an fx-60 with that cooler. Overclocked at 3ghz running dual folding at 50-51c full load 24/7. | ||

| I used a Thermalright XP-90, a Zalman 7700 Al-Cu, and a Zalman 9500-LED in different builds with Athlon 64 3200+ CPUs set to 2.5GHz. All of them never break past 52C on a hot California summer day at medium speed. | ||

i probably have the room lol.. i may just try it with the flower first, then move it up to that CM GeminIl lol, that thing is amonster (how is that pronounced anyway...) with 2 silverstone FM121s that thing would be a beast. ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| the plan is to get an opty 165 and get it up to ~2.5-2.8 stable.. my room fluctuates in temp alot.. sometimes my comp will idle at 32c, others its idleing at 40c (on the zalman cnps7500-AlCu LED) matter of fact, today i believe it was idling at around 45c on a 250 Mhz OC. a big typhoon may work too.. so ill wait on your review to be completed on the geminII.. i noticed that the bottom of the CM geminII looked kinda rough.. (as compared to some of coolers with copper mirros for contact patches). | ||

| Just remember that even the best air coolers are limited by the airflow of your case, if you have rat's nest of wires you're cooler won't be able to function nearly as well as it should. In other words: Pics please! Also, use those alcohol wipes that your doctor uses when he sticks you with needles when you clean the heatsink and CPU for Arctic Silver. | ||

| OK, i need some recent pics anyways, all i have are old ones.. but heres an oldone as a teaser.. i have since removed the red fans and the turbine fan from the front. ( im gonna paint some stuff on the aluminum red fans, and the silverstone fan makes about 20 more cfm than the turbine.. so i put it back in lol) i also have added a thermaltake heatpipe chipset cooler and another hdd since that pic as well.. so, it has a 54ish cfm fan in the front (120mm) 2 80s in the back (silverstone, dont know the cfm) one 92 silverstone in top (mounts on the 80mm holes, dont remember the cfm either) 2 blue 12" cathodes i want to put an fm121 in the front and keep it at like 60% (around 80 cfm) when its hott and if im gaming or something cut it up. and im gonna put the aluminum red fans back in the rear as soon as ive modded a switch to cut the leds on and off. and i want to ditch those blue cathodes for some UV ones. anyways.. enough about that ![]() | ||
