Default Looking for a good reliable LCD HD Widescreen TV

Hi everyone i been on the search for a new LCD HD Widescreen TV (not Plasma) that is i just want a plain LCD at least a 40'' to 47'', so i am wondering what you all look for in a LCD when buying one considering there is so many variations of LCD out there, here is couple that i have been looking at buying come income tax time since my 32'' Zenith is on it way out the door with the picture tube going bad.
Ps. i do not have any good places close by to buy a LCD TV except a Best Buy, Walmart, Sams Club and Sears, the only other places would be 55 miles and that is Burlington, Vermont or travel 200 miles and that would be Albany,NY so i would like to know what you all think of the 2 LCD TV's i pick out i am looking at spending around $2,000 between the LCD TV and a really nice stand i found at Walmart that will cost me $229.95 not counting tax so that would leave me about $1,750.00 for the LCD TV maybe a little more.

This is one of my first choices for a LCD i have been looking at Best Buy

my 2nd choice Best Buy

The first one has a better resolution so id think youd like that better, didnt check to see if it has a vga input though...hint, hint

Hey the second ones not an LCD its a projector tv

EDIT ...The first one seems really nice ,I dont think you'll find anything with features better than that

2nd EDIT Look at these at Newegg better deals, better quality, for around $99 or less shipping
I bought a veiwsonic from them and it arrived safe and sound

Hey Ranger, I have purchased a Samsung 4095 2 months ago and it kicks a$$. You can get it from Amazon and it fits your requirements. It's a 40" LCD that supports everything all the way up to 1080P. The only thing that is weird about it is that it will only accept a PC through the VGA port and not via HDMI.
I have installed it on the wall with a Sanus wall mount and it was a pretty simple job. PM me if you have any questions.
From my research the only LCD TV that offers better quality is the Sony that costs almost $3K, and it isn't really worth the extra money for me.
