| Hey, whats up? I havent been on for awhile, because of issues in Iraq. But anyway I want to upgrade and I've been out of touch. If you look at my specs, you can see I'm behind. I was thinking about this mobo Fatal1ty AN9 32X Because I love Abit. I want max adjustibility when I OC. The problem is I think I have to get a new Vid card. I want a mobo with maximum Tweak, but not to much hassle, ya know? Can someone give me an Idea? Proccessor is prolly gonna be an AM2 base. | ||

| Abit's OC ability has been somewhat lacking compared to other offerings since the old hey day of the NF-7S Rev.2Now this one is "A bit" better than some of ther eother recent offerings wich were realy dismal in the OC dept, often only reaching 250FSB or less.
bit-tech.net | Abit Fatal1ty AN9 32X DFI and the Lan party series has generally been the king in this dept. since they hired away Oscar Woo from them, the genius behind that NF-7, and master of the Bios...I have used the NF-2, NF-3 and NF-4 versions and reached amazing FSB clocks with them! But they are definately a board for an advanced user!Asus is generally what I would reccomend these days for someone that does not want to delve in to the most obscure settings however..how about 350FSB without a lot of hassle?AnandTech: ASUS M2N32-SLI & Epox MF570SLI: AM2 Wunderkinder Last edited by $SOLID$ Necro; 11-January-07 at 12:56 AM..

What do you mean exactly by "Watercooling Options" and "Clock Options?" Are you talking about transfering a currrent system? Or purchasing a new one? Danger Den is the place I would start looking first, they have realy good cooling hardware, and is always ranked at the top like ASUS in terms of performance, reliability and ease of use. Danger Den Community Website: News Typically, most NB's don't require watercooling, ASUS boards have a good heatpipe cooler on the premium boards, at the most you might consdider directing a fan towards it. The Video card is one place that benefits most from watercooling, even more so than the CPU since they are harder to cool in general...they are a bit more space restricted than when cooling a CPU, even aftermarket air coolers for them can't begin to match high end water. Todays high end CPU coolers can equal or best a midrange watercooling kit, and are right on the heals of a top of the line kit...usualy within 100-200MHZ of the max you will see on water.
