| Apex Techie Lite  |  Is it worth it... Well, another 7 months has gone by, and i wana upgrade my video card from the 7800GT to the7900GTO...the real question is, is the GTO worth the cheese they want for it...?... I was told by Matts Pc that would bottle neck, running that card in my system...is this right..or what MattsPc is a good friend of mine...he knows his stuff, and i do alot of reading on PC equiptment before i make my choice...thanks for the advise guys...big thumbs up... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Apex Tech God  | Re: Is it worth it... Matts right---It WILL bottleneck but the difference between the 7800 and the 7900 will be minimal. The 8800 will at least be future proof and even when it does bottleneck it will stil get you better preformance. Ideally you would upgrade to a Core2 + 8800. | |
