Default Suggestions on AGP card

Whats the Best AGP card I can get for Under $120? Im looking to replace my 9600 Pro, I need something with a bit more power and a bit more up to date. I was looking at X800 GTO or X1300, Any Suggestions? I have no preference on who makes it

7600 GS is my first choice, it has Pixel Shader 3 and HDR support for the newest games, and 12 piplenes.

CHAINTECH GeForce 7600GS GSA76GS Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com

This is the cheapest one I could find, there may be better brands if you want to pony up

The X-800 GTO is great for slightly older games, can be "Flashed" or unlocked with drivers to a 16 pipe X 850 from what I've heard, but do some research on the particular model first!

They have an open box one for as little as 90$

Open Box: SAPPHIRE Radeon X800GTO 100131 Video Card - OEM at Newegg.com

X-1650Pro (12 Pipelines...but supposedly only 4 of them are used due to 128bit interface) 116$
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1600PRO 100148ADVL Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com

This would be my last choice, it has support for newer games (PS3 and HDR) but in older games, the GTO will be faster most likey, especially if unlocked!

Hm, Thanks Necro. Now Im wondering if I should Upgrade to x64 instead of staying where Im at. Sure it might be a frugal Upgrade, but its better than nothing. My Limit is 200, But Im wondering if I can Pull that kinda dough for Christmas. I figure people can get me certain parts and I'll buy the rest.

However, I have a 350W PSU Im guessing that wont be enough if I upgrade..
Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg
There are some good deals on that Page, but can anyone speak of Thermal Takes PSU rep? Or Sunbeams?

I like this one:Sunbeam PSU-CGMI450-US-BK 450W Black Tri Mirrored X-Plug Modular Power Supply - Retail at Newegg.com
The fact its Modular and Cheap.

Now for the CPU:
AMD Opteron 144 1.8GHz Socket 939 Processor - Retail at Newegg.com
AMD Opteron 146 2.0GHz Socket 939 Processor - Retail at Newegg.com
Im guessing the 10 Extra Bucks Probably isnt worth it, I plan On Overclocking.

Video Card- Would the same suggestions as Necro Posted (along with Limits) Still hold true for PCIE cards? (Is there anything better for that price ammount?)

Mobo: I have no clue which to get. I have had VERY good luck with ASUS, I have heard some good things about DFI (Limit is around 75 bucks) Basically, I need something thats good for Overclocking.

Everything Else I pretty much have (HDD, RAM..etc)

This looks to be a very nice video ATI 1600 AGP 512MB card for the price of $99.99 Nerdz... They say sold out on there website, but i was at my local BestBuy about 2 hours ago and they had about 12 AGP and 10 PCI-Express left you might want to contact your local BestBuy to see if they have any in the store if you are still looking.

Killert is probably going to be looking to sell his vid card real soon, its a real high end AGP card (7800GS?) that might fit in your budget, and it's not that old...so drop him a PM!

Alos Fu3lman is loooking at a new card, he has a X-850, might want to hit him up too!

(If you aren't against getting one used)

the x1600 is an awesome card. the only downside is DDR2 memory. I have one in AGP and it plays everything on my athlon XP system great. HL2 and CS:S are flawless. Call of Duty looks beautiful too.

Im stuck between These 2 Cards (one of which necro suggested)
CHAINTECH GeForce 7600GS GSA76GS Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com
HIS Hightech Radeon X1650PRO H165PRF256AN-R Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com

They both have the same mem clock, but the radeon has a high Core Clock.

And whats the diff between The last card and this one? (besides it has a higher Mem speed and a lower core speed)
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1650PRO 100174L CrossFire Support Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com

I suggest that ATi's technology seems to be more forth-looking (considering that games are definately looking more and more shader-bound: Crytek's Crysis, - for instance). I also notice that the ATi piece performs much better than nVidia's under any sort of high-quality (AKA: AA/AF) scenarios, aswell as in resolution, which suprised me, -like the fact it won (by a few measly points) in 3DMark06, where I've previously found nVidia to be pretty dominant all around.
