Default Tucking Wires Under Motherboard

I'm trying to route my IDE, sound and power cables under my motherboard. I know this can be done but i hope I'm not harming the board because it seems like i have to really screw the board down so it will stay. Will this bend it in anyway over time? Have any ideas?

I've already done this with my current system and it does work. Remember that the wires are insulated and routing the smaller under there is fine..................I wouldn't even think about routing the huge ATX cable under there..................just make a nice straight, clean connection with that one.

Cool. I do have a Ultra X-Finity PSU with the insulated cables so I'll be fine. Now is it okay to lay a ribbon cable over the wires since it's real flat? Can I also use tape to secure the cables down?

Thanks

You might not have to tape them down.........Just lay the wires down, then set the mobo on top and go easy when tightening..................take your time.

Just to be clear, are you asking how to remove broken pins from the plug on a cable?

I have to press the board down in order for the screws to reach the holes. I took all the tape off the wires and layed them down so they won't move any. One question. This won't bend the board or anything over time will it?

AND STOP SHOUTING!

This is someone else's thread about a totally different topic so stop thread-stealing.

If you really are incapable of using either Google, or the forum search feature (highly recommend both!) then start your own new thread to ask your own question.

Thank you

Mark
