Well at 800RPM you're still moving air, and at 8dB I wouldn't complain!

that would be silent.....barely audible. The only thing quieter would be a passive heat sink....which would be 0 Db. Be careful though even though its quiet, its not moving much air, which might not keep your system cool enough. Wire management and air flow will be very important.

On a side note, Its very expensive to get equipment to record that low.

they really are quiet. i have a 800 rpm and its silent. i also have two of the 1600 rpm versions and they are quieter than a silverstone everflow and the orange thermaltake fans. you can get similar results with most quality fans and a speed controller though.
btw, the 80 mm cooler master ultra silent fans with super flo sleeve bearings are just as quiet and alot cheaper.

okay. I think getting air flow in the case is no probelm since wire management is really good. So air flow shouldnt be messed up by wires. On my case I have 3 120's front back and top. Do they make 80mm.
I want to change my psu fans and make it alittle more silent. Go ideal or bad please explain
