Hi Guys i recently came across a server that a mate had and it was an absolute bargain!!! (or so i think) I gave him £200 for it. Heres the link below But it came with (x3) 36.5Gb SCSI 15,000rpm Array (HP wide Ultra 320).http://www.ciao.co.uk/HP_ProLiant_ML350_G4p__6214873 Now i currently download from UseNet with GrabIt so i am downloading 24/7 amd doing allot of RARing, PARing, Encoding etc etc. Also i have just built a new gaming rig and a new media centre pc both of which and my server for that matter have gigbit ethernet so i am now starting to think about keeping a shed load of mp3, avi etc on my new server and streaming files to each compter. Would this be a good idea?Also thinking of doing summit with an FTP server setup on it but i dont really know much on this matter!!So i really just wanna know what you guys think of my purchase and if anyone has any ideas on what else i can do with it? Or has any comments on the ideas i am having!!!Sweet cheers guys PS: I did toy with the idea of using the SCSI array in my gaming rig but i dont think i will bothere lol I will just save up for a raptor RAID0 array lol
