![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=A0613782 This digital camera is only $204 with the $10 off $100 code C99$273GQ1L4W8, a 10% off promotion on select digital cameras, and an additional $10 off when you use PayPal! The lowest price for this on the Internet is around $198, but major retailers want much higher prices for it. Amazon has it at $275 and Circuit City wants $224 for it. I'm fairly inexperienced with digital cameras. A family member of mine wants it to use for taking pictures of items to sell on Ebay because it has a special Ebay shot mode that optimizes images for Ebay. Is this a good camera or should I find something else?

![]() | to me it seems like a good price for 6 MP; the eBay function I have never seen but really makes it attractive. Maybe check the sellers return policy and if it's the normal 10 days and the conditions are favorable , you could try it out and send it back if it doesn't meet your needs. I know people who have been happy with Casio, but of course it's not top of the line like say Nikon or Canon. Of course you don't really need 6 MP unless you are going to do big printouts like posters Last edited by chapper; 02-July-06 at 12:52 PM. |

| Eleven-Bravo Sitrep Writer | I have a Fuji FinePix A360 4.1MP cam I picked up at Walmart as a kit for $150, and I'm very happy with it... The most expensive add-on was the 512MB xD card I bought for it... Check out some of the pics I've taken with it in my worklog... I think you could save yourself some $$$ and still have some nice results without having to buy a 6MP cam...

I can tell you from experience though to stay away from Vivitar digital cameras. Canon and Fuji, to the best of my knowledge, make some of the best cameras priced in the range that you mention. Take a look at this one over at the egg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16830120179 |

| Apex Tech Fanatic | I've heard of Casio and their cameras seem to be just OK. I'd go w/ the Canon in the link above because you are paying for the sleek look w/ the Casio.(unless you're going for style over substance)
