Default Video Card question

Hello, so, I am currently using an XFX Geforce 6200. It has 256mb ram, and is the locked version, meaning I cannot open up the extra pipelines and can't change the core or memory. Rivatuner wouldn't unlock any of it. Today, my work got a new shipment of workstations, and we instantly had to remove the graphics cards and put in our own. So, I got to keep one that we took out. It is the Nvidia Quadro 4 980XGL. It has 128mb ram. I'm just wondering if it would perform better than the 6200? I've done a lot of searching, and can't really find any benchmark results for the Quadro. I'll post the specs for both down below. So, I'm just looking for opinions, right now I just play HL2, BF2, and some other random games.

Quadro is a CAD card. Your 6200 will rape it in gaming.

However a free Quadro 4 980 is a hell of a score. Those are decent cards.

Yeah, free is always nice. I have read that the Quadro is overclockable, where as my 6200 isn't. So, I was just curious is it would compete. I may benchmark it myself tonight, just to see, but I will probably put it on ebay or something and use the money for other computer goodies.

From what I understand, a cad card will rnder each frame precisely, so it kills any framerates in typical benches and games.

I did a informal test against my buddies CAD card, and while both cards would run each others APPS, they were like fish out of water!

Am I right in thinking that the only diference between CAD cards and Regular cards is the BIOS?

It can be as simple as something like that, but not always...there used to be a way to change a GF-4 into a Quadro by using RivaTuner
