Question SATA prices, whats good?

It's been a while since I've bought a SATA drive last and only one was a 200GB SATA Seagate 2yrs ago for $120

I'd like to get a 300GB or 400GB but I *think* 250's are the best bang for your buck. I'v had the absolute best experience with Seagate and horrible with Maxtor and Western Digital so I'd like to stay with Seagate.

The other thing, is the 16MB cache worth it? I'd think for a huge drive like a 400GB it'd be needed. A SATA 150 will be fine but if i upgrade my system I would have SATA 300 so either or...

So...
What size is the best bang for your buck?
Price per GB?
Whats a good seek time?
cache size?
