. . . is Apple releasing a better version in the very near future?

I've been looking around the net for any info regarding the "next" iPod iteration, but have not been successful.

Anyone heard anything?

Apple are always releasing a new version. It's the way they keep demand up...people have got bored with the whole 'it's sleeker than sleek' look ages ago and so they have to keep reinventing the player with as many useless features as possible.

It really depends how much money you have, and how much you're bothered about having the latest music player on the block. I have an iPod Photo - never use the photo function but the colour display is handy.

Just bought mine (Black 60GB Video) from Apple Store. Engraving : Yar! It's Mine, Matey!!

Also picked up the FM Receiver and eVo 3 Eclipse Black Cover
