| Apex Tech God | . . . regardless of price, would you get: An Ultra X-Connect X2 SLI 550W OR An OCZ PowerStream™ 600 Watt "Limited Edition" SLI I'm putting one of them into a Thermaltake Armor "Aluminum" with a water-cooled DFI Lanparty Expert and Opteron 175 I'm also trying to stealth the cables, so I don't know if that would effect things considering the OCZ is not modular. Let me know your thoughts. Opinions definitely encouraged!! Thank you!! -hartigan

| Sir Knight of Spamalot | Id go for more watts, even though the Xconnect has has removable connectors (which is nice..)

| Apex Tech Maniac | I'd also say the OCZ Powerstream, even though I have an X-Connect V.1 and love it. The thing is that, yes, it's modular, but once I have all of my components plugged in I have just about all of the cables in there anyhow ![]() The only thing is that the X-Connect has those new "ForceFlex" cables that might be easier to stealth. Hmm... hard choice actually. I know you said "regardless of price", but if I had to take that into consideration I would probably go with the X-Connect. Regardless of price, still the powerstream

| Apex Tech God | Thanks a lot for all the responses so far!!! Your thoughts are pretty much the same things I'm mulling over. I'm still deciding, but I originally wanted the OCZ and I think I may stick with it. A lot of the rigs over at xtremesys that are OCing the dual Optys are using it and I've only heard good things so it's seeming like the frontrunner. Still entertaining suggestions and opinions though. Thanks again.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you list all your other components and if your water pump will run off of the 12V rail of your PSU then I can get a better understanding of which to choose. Right now I'm leaning towards the Ultra because of the large fan and the modular flexforce cables. The shine and silver cables are also attractive. |

| Mastah Overclocker | I have the OCZ 520 and it powers my SLI 6800U rig just fine at over 3GHZ. It has adjustable voltage rails that I set about .1 above stock under full load (3.4,5.1and12.1v) but that will void the warranty
