I am thinking about getting a new rig but I can't spend a fortune on it so I am trying to keep it cheap but fast. Here is what I am thinking about.

AMD 64 3200+ Venice

Chaintech VNF4

MSI X800

Samsung 200GB IDE HDD

Corsair XMS 1GB (2x 512mb)

Aspire X-QPack

I am still iffy on if I will get the aspire case or not. It is small and I could move it around easily. I already have a psu so that will save me some money.

Anyone have any suggestions or complaints about the hardware?

Get a smaller HD, and upgrade your video card. Get the connect3D X800GTO.. You'll be happy with it.

Also, that Mobo won't fit in that case. The mobo you have picked is a ATX, the case only takes a MicroATX.

Edit: This mobo will fit, and has PC-I, and all the other features you had.

That mobo you suggested in a socket 754 and I am getting a 939 cpu.

Why would I need to get a smaller hdd? It's worth the money and I need the space.

Someone can reccomend a new mobo then.

Then, keep the HDD and get a X800GTO, I own one and I get nothing less them 50FPS on any game.

Think I am going to go with an MSI board with an ATI chipset.

I'm going the X800 because funds are tight and even if it isn't that much more for a GTO I still need to save the money.

Then save up more. The GTO is 40 bucks more, and is flashable to 16Pipe and allows higher O/C on stock cooling.

Thanks for the help THRASHER2, I will get the memory from zipzooomfly and more than likely the hdd but the video card and mobo are a lil more than what I can spend.

How much do you want to send on a Video card?

Your asking for help, but everytime we give some, you throw it out the window bud.. You really can't ask for complaints, suggestions, ect. if you aren't going to listen to them.

No offense, but how can you be saying what you want if you can't read that a case requires a MicroATX and you were gonna get a ATX.. If it wasn't for posting on here, you would have ordered that and been SOL.

I am not throwing it out the window, I am on a tight budget right now and I don't need the best stuff out there. As for listening to them I am, I have ignored yours because they haven't been helpful.

First off I was throwing the post together real quick before I had to leave to go pick up my friend from the airport. I didn't read all about the case, I just skimmed through.

No I would not be **** out of luck if it weren't for posting here. I haven't even ordered the parts yet. You need to stop while your ahead.

I won't be playing games like crazy on it because of my training at the fire academy and working but I know the MSI card I linked to at the first post before ERROR404 started to become really annoying would be fine for the games today.
