Can i recover a formatted 1Tb drive?

Hi,

I foolishly (see accidentally) formatted a 1Tb drive (NTFS) and ideally would like to recover the data.

Nothing has been written over it, so i am hoping that someone can recommend a freeware app that can restore the data.

argh. i cant remember the name, but yes you can restore the drive =) when i get hoime tonight ill give you a few programs to do it =)

I know there are a lot of disk utilities on roadkil.net for disc recovery and boot sector recovery but im not sure if it will do what you need. They also have a un-delete program something you might want to read into.
