Default SLI Question

Alright guys, I DID search, yet the searches were too tedious..so I'd rather ask. I'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to computers, and I'm reformatting my gaming computer.

Once everything is back up and running, how do you enable SLI again? I have the most current drivers for my 6600GT's and there isn't the option in the Nvida control panel. Any suggestions?

Sli should be enabled through the control panel. You may need to go with the advanced user panel. Do you have the SLi bridge installed? might sound like a dumb question but ya never know........

What hardware are you using?

How to enable SLI Antialiasing

Folow this guide, just ignore the part about the AA..I doubt you would want to use it on the 6600GT, unless your playing older games!

There is also a video how to..it's the bottom one.

Along with checking the SLI bridge as HTR mentioned, is it possible you have a motherboard with jumpers that need to be moved? My DFI Lan Party back when SLI first came out had HUGE jumpers that needed to be moved.

Well I can't read the images. There to small for my eye's. Have you read the user notes for the driver your using? It may not support SLI with your cards anymore. You may need to use an older driver. www.guru3d.com has a pretty good collection of old drivers you can check out :-)

Its not so much your eyes..as the images need to be resized to 800x600.

If you use the defaults from paint..its unreadable at Apex...one of those newer "Features" that realy suck!

You used to be able to post a pic full size in the post itself..but it's broken or has been removed.

Now you need to get an image resizer, or post it on photobucket and use the built in tools there.

It realy grinds me, posting a pic used to be simple, but in the effort to "Improve" things..it has take a major step backwards IMO.
