| Apex Techie Lite |  7800 GT OC vs. 7900 GS? Is it worth my $40? Currently I'm running a BFG 7800 GT OC (oldschoololdschoololdschool) but my friend is offering me his old eVGA 7900 GS for 40 bones. I'm just wondering if I'm going to see any improvements from that small step up? If Tom's VGA charts can be trusted I'm looking at 3 or 4 FPS? IIRC the 7900 series is built on a smaller fabrication, so maybe I could play with the clocks a little? Weren't some people getting 7900 GTX speeds out of the GS?  | |
