Question ISA cards and 30-pin SIMMs

So I cleaned the attic and got a few old PC to disassemble and I've ended up with a box full of ISA cards.

Modems, sound cards, SCSI, NIC [no old video - sorry j-dogg].

Is it worth even plugging these in to test them?

How about the 30-pin RAM?

Do any of you even use ISA anymore for some obscure reason?

I have a K5 that runs still, (i don't run it often though)

My P1 died when something shorted on the board.

But I doubt they are anything but interesting history I would say...

Lightbulb Re: ISA cards and 30-pin SIMMs

I currently have an old P1 set up in the living room so Lil Squirrel can play some old kid games. They just won't install under XP and it's easiest just to have a whole separate computer run Win98.

But I'm basically not touching that machine - I fear it's fragile and any mucking around to increase RAM might be a death-touch.

Anybody need parts for just such a retro-machine? Otherwise I'll just dump em in the electronics recycle pile and have the neighborhood scavenger come get 'em.

Or maybe I'll add 'em to the 5.25 floppy and 386 proc pile I hope to get some 'artist' to pay for one day .

Recycle them. They're not worth anything, unless its something uber rare. ISA sound carsds, video cards, modems, etc are worthless.
