Default Does this even exist?

I wanted to know if anyone was aware of a way to convert a regular headphone type jack to a optical? Basically I am looking for an adapter of some sort to do the job. Also is there an optical splitter that I can get that will take in two optical signals/lines so it can got one source? I want them both to be on, I don't want an optical switch.

Or does anyone know a receiver that will decode HDMI audio that will not cost me an arm and other body parts?

Thanks

I saw that as well and actually I want to go from a headphone jack to an optical not an optical to rca. So I am not sure how that would work for me.
