Mini Atx sugestions

Hello all you pimps, I just got ahold of an mac classic 2 and plan on using it in my next build which will be posted here.

I was hoping u pimps could give me some advice on some decent hardware for a low price, i plan on using air cooling and I would also like to know what mini atx psu u pimps advise, this is all saying an mini atx board would fit in it.

Ill try and get some dimensions up for u guys tomorrow but im beat, I estimate that its about 14 inches long and 12 inches wide but im not sure. Thank you all

Well, you can easily fit an 8x9 microATX in something like that...possibly. You can go cheap and put a $250 system in there just to say you did. That's what I do. That way if I screw up, you didn't lose much cash.

If you are keeping the original monitor in it, you will not be able to fita mATX board in there for sure.
I think you may want to look into mITX instead for an enclosure that small.

I definiteley am not keeping the original monitor as it was cracked already :[. But fo u guys have any suggestions for a good mobo processor combo for cheap mini atx, Also does anyone know where i could find an 6-7 inch lcd monitor

For PSU, i would advise SilentX.
Enermax has a few, but silent X has Smaller ones that show more stable in time.

As for hardware, i have no idea how small of a space you have to work with, so i can help much. Go 939, or 754 it should be cheap enough.

It would be shoe-horning at best fitting a mATX rig inside there, the Mac Classics are not big at all. That is why I suggested mITX instead as I know it will fit in the Mac enclosure.
I/O will still have to be modded to fit, but everything else should be ok.

Well finally found a stupid ruler, the dimensions are about 9'' by 9'', so it looks like im going to have to go mini itx. Does anybody know of a place where i could get an mini itx mobo tray or would it be better just to mount it on a peice of aluminum inside

If you don't want to use a pico PSU, I found some nice, small PSUs here, here, and here.

This place has some nice ones, too.
