| No experience with that mobo, but I gotta point out that when I ordered my E6750 from Directron, it was in my hands the next day. Of course, Houston isn't that far from Dallas, but nonetheless it points out quick "handling" times if nothing else. | ||

| I think I would go with the EVGA 650i board for a few $$ more, I would bet it OC's a bit better, I think either board is going to be limited to 2.1v for ram voltage. eVGA nForce 650i Ultra 775 T1 LGA 775 ATX Motherboard 122-CK-NF66-T1 Mobo Mainboard Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo CPUs Dual DDR2 800 PCI-E SATA RAID-Best Computer Online Store Houston Buy Discount Prices Texas-Directron.com Hmm it's cheaper at New Egg! Newegg.com - EVGA 122-CK-NF66-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail And for 125$ (Maybe less elsewhere) you can get a ASUS 650I board with SLI support..and I know that one does realy well. Newegg.com - ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail Or..you can get the latest version of Intel's chipset...the P-35 It replaced the 965, and out performs it by a noticable amount, and was designed with 1333FSB and Quad Core support from the get go, instead of an upgraded old chipset. Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail EDIT! Crap...saw you allready bought it, nevermind! It's an OK board, I think there were better ones for the money though, but it should do just fine for a mild OC. Last edited by $SOLID$ Necro; 29-July-07 at 04:35 PM.. | ||

| Scchpaanks! I got a board now that overclocks alright, but it's a "combination" board, got agp and pci-e , got ddr and ddr2 I'm looking to buy cheap but still good, overclockable board with 4 ddr2 slots, hopefully 2 pci-e x16 slots.... And hmmm does anyone know about any board out there that got serial attached scsi on it? LOL (see thread about 18 bucks for 147gb 10000rpm serial attached scsi hdd) | ||

| Well, just started playin , but this board has a lot of O/C options for a buget board Not many boards ( i think ) have the amount of O/C options I see in the bios on this one. I will say 2 odd things , #1 the board shuts down every time i set a new o/c up in bios, then boots up ?? not reset mind you but actually powers off for a sec or so. #2 the software O/C is kinda well bland but thats cool , i like bios O/C anyhow. | ||

1) Yup, pretty normal. All boards I've seen do that. 2) Yeah, serious overclockers want a nice clean BIOS, free of messy graphics and colours. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ok so i've meesed with the board a bit , and WOW , its great , has V adjustments for all chips, tons of memory adjustments , and much much more............. I looked around online and found some folks ( on Ln2 ) hitting over 500fsb with e6600's and so far havent found one bad thing about the board except .................. Im in WAY OVER MY HEAD !!!!!!!!!!!! its gonna take quite a while for me to learn this board and all the different settings and what they do and how they effect each other .looks like im goin BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!! So, for anyone looking , i would definatly say , YES!!! this board is WELL WORTH $85 | ||

| Seems like you're gonna spend a lot of time in that shop, so why don't you go ahead and rip that A/C unit back off that CPU and cool yourself.... As for cooling, i got another idea.... I once, not long ago read about this guy that submersed his computer in hmmm i think mineral oil, which is completely non-conductive.. Then put jar/box/barrel with submersed computer in freezer...O/C the living crap outta it..... | ||
