Default Qcore board Recommendations

Ok , well i been lookinf for the last hour or so and i cant deside on a board, so i thought i'd ask all Y'all for some help

I'm leaning toward this one
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

But if anyone has a better one , for around the same $150 up to $225 MAX , also is 680i worth the extra cash or is 650i good enough

For SLI, the P5NE-SLI series is the best bang for the buck boardrd on the market right now.

There is a slightly cheaper version that still does realy well, Killert has one, and I just had NoSlack but a system based on it.

Newegg.com - ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

The version you are looking at, while I am not sure exactly what the difference is, other than probably more bells and whistles like SATA ports and such.

Newegg.com - ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

I read there are boot issues withr am that needs more than the defualt 1.8v, so be warned if your ram neds 2v or more to run at defaults.

I always read customer reviews at new egg, just realise some of the people that write them are idiots..lol (But not all)

680i gets you some more bells and whistles, marginaly better performance, and a bit more OC headroom.

For a single card..the P-35 is a much better OC'er, and will give a nice boost in performance..but only has support for X-Fire, but I would not reccomend anything from ATi right now.

In a little bit, Intel will release the X-38 chipset that wil have SLI capabilities, and will be even stronger performance wise than the P-35.

X-38 will be DDR-3 only, P-35 you can get with DDR-2 or DDR-3.
