Default remote volume control

I have been using a Power Mate volume control for quite a while but it has always been a pain in the elbow so I'm giving up on it.
Does anyone know of & could recommend a remote control for PC that would let me control the volume of web radio from my bed which is in the same room but across the room from my PC?
THX

Why is it a pain? I love mine. I felt kinda silly about spending $50 on a knob, untill i saw this $500 knob.

If you want control across the room though, ATI remote wonders are pretty great. Or you could always map the volume in whatever program to the scroll wheel and use a wireless mouse.

I have loved my PowerMate too but it seems XP doesn't love it. Can't tell you how many dozens of times I have uinstalled & reinstalled the program but even that doesn't always work. I have called Griffin to no avail & there is no driver update.
Yeah well I'm like you...$500 is WAY out of my range.
I have been using a wireless mouse but I just got a Logitech G-5 laser & the wire is too short. Kitten would play hell with a long wire anyhow
Guess I'll keep trying to reinstall.
THX for the info though.

I put the powermate exe in my startup folder, solved all of my problems.
