| I did some looking around on NewEgg. and found a few that should work. I want to record a local FM radio show on my computer so I can listen to it after work. Any suggestions? I have plenty of hard drive space. Thanks for your time. E | ||

| I would just get one of those cables with the male connectors on each end and connect one end to the headphone port on your stereo and the other to your mic port on your computer. Though someone's probably going to have to actually start it recording while your at work. | ||

| Most MP3 Players Nowadays have a FM radio and a recording function. A 1GB MP3 Player (The cheapest I saw goes for 30 Bucks) should have enough space to record you show. But you have to make sure you get clear reception with it, or else it will be staticy. | ||

| all good points!! but, if you want to go the original route, i would get a high quality audio cable to go from whatever output terminals you have on your radio ( is it a seperate?? ) to your line-in jack on your soundcard, not the mic!! you'll get far better results using the line-in!! you can obviously set the levels in control panel!! lastly, i'ld download a program like adobe audition or any good audio software, so then, once recorded you be able to tweak the recording! setting it up to record at a certain time i'm not sure about though! hope that helps?! | ||
