| I have been thinking about getting one of these... all I keep hearing is dead pixel this and dead pixel that... Has anyone tried them yourself? Apparently there are already an impressive amount of hacks for this device as well. ![]() | ||

| If you travel alot I would say go for it but if you just plan on playing around the house, it will bore you after a while and you will go back to your PC really soon. The movies are really cool, at first at least...again, more on the road than anything as as DVD plays much better on a nice big screen. Battery life is pretty good, and its well made. All in all its great on the go, but not great for much else IMO. | ||

| A couple of my buddies had them out to sea on our last workup and these things imo are amazing. Being able to watch movies, play games @ a great rendering, store pictures or music, and you can tweak em! If i had the cash to spare i would definately get one from what ive seen of their performance just cause im traveling alot. But like what was said earlier, its just not that practical for home use. | ||

| Most people only have 1 or 2 DEAD pixels. There are pixels that become "stuck" and show either white, blue, red, ect. which can infact be fixed. There is a program that I have that runs like a video, you just put it on AB repeat and let it run for an hour or two. BAM! those "stuck" pixels are fixed. Let me know if anyone needs a like to this such program. I just read Foe's entry after posting mine. Heh, she beat me to it. | ||
