The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Coming to PS3 and PSP?

Rumors are abounding regarding the development and possible release of the RPG sensation The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the PSP and the PS3. If this rumor turns out to be true, Microsoft will have it bad – real bad – since this is currently the best selling title for the Xbox 360.

Bethesda hasn't yet confirmed or denied whether the game is really coming to Sony's current and next-gen consoles. But gamers will surely be keeping their fingers crossed for this rumor to become reality, and you really can't blame them. It would be really exciting to be able to play this awesome RPG on Sony's handheld and on the promising PS3.

I wonder if bethesda will incorporate all the mods (horse armor, orrery, etc) because 360 users can get em from live, but PS3 users won't have that option (at least to my knowledge).

I think bethesda deserves every dollar it can make off this game but deep down I wish it would stay as a 360 exclusive title (oh noes, i'm a MS fanboy!). But releasing the game on PS3 is still a ways off, and i'll enjoy every minute those playstation 3 fanboys wait for their console and this game. :biggergri

I don't know why I care, I play it on pc. :geek:

Also...they did put in the ever present "at present time" "no announced plans"

So, there's still hope, but from Bethesda right now...its not true...

PS3's too far away for that to really matter anyway. And if Microsoft's killer app isn't Xbox exclusive (since it's also on PC), they've got to get their act together anyway

Hmm... well, I can't really see it happening because it's been out on PC and the 360 for a few months now. With PS3 still quite a ways down the road, I don't think Bethesda would release the game a second time (almost a year later) for a different console.

Yeah, I can see them porting the game to the PS3 because the PS3 can handle the game probably just as well as the 360, but the PSP would be seriously handicapped compared to the others. I dont' see the poitn for a PSP version.
