Ok, I know some of you people do this photoshop stuff for fun, so I figured I would let you know that I am lookin' for help!


Yes, its that planetside thing again. This time, my outfit is forming a web-site and as of now, this is our banner

and quite frankly, I think it is pretty bad. We are in the VS and our colors are a purple and teal.

I know that many of you can do better and I would love to see what you can whip up.

The measurements are 950 x 100 pixels.

Have fun with it! Whatcha got?

Oh, and a prize. Sadly, I got nothing I can offer as a prize. this isn't a real contest, more of a REquest.

Is this some sort of clan banner for a game? What is
the VS'? More information as to what this planetside thing is would be helpful...

Ah yes, planetside is a MMOFPS, and it is set in the future, the VS are a faction or "empire" within the game who have embraced the alien technology of the planet they inhabit. There is the TR (Terran Republic) who are like emperialists, (british in 1776) the NC (New Conglomorant) who are like the collonials in 1776 and there are the VS (Vanu Sovreignity) who are like the NC who got hooked on the technology and beliefs of the ancient Vanu people who used to inhabit this planet.

The Vanu use non-traditional weapons, beam-weapons, eneergy orb weapons, and hovering vehicles where-as the other two (TR & NC) use more traditional weapons with more traditional vehicles.

In any case, the VS are like the technofiles, always tinkering with things etc...

Our Outfit (or clan or guild) is called the Ghosts of the Revolution. (The Revolution in quesion is to overthrow the emperialists of the TR) damn red-coats.

Hmmm, the word is, 950 x 100 but either is ok I guess, whatever looks best at 1024 x 768 resolution. If you are working on it, thats awesome. I supose we will take whatever looks best. Thanks John.

awesome, yeah, maybe some shot of a landscape behind that, like from the game, I will try to upload some random terrain screenshots. also, see www.gotr.net and check out the gallery. I really like the script you chose, and the colors are awesome for the text. I cant wait to see more!
