Problems playing *.AVI files

Does anyone know where to get a good program to play any *.AVI file? I have some that Windows Media Player won't even play even after CODEC upgrades. Any suggestions as to better programs?

There are so many CODECs you need anymore because everyone is using differant progs to compress. I'd try downloading ACE Mega CoDecS Pack 5.93.

You can also dl the nimo codec pack...it has all the codecs you need.

I use winamp for just about all my media and It has been nothing but good. If you do decide to use winamp I reccomend using winamp 2.9 from callsic.winamp.com and also downloading Enhancer 17-makes a HUGE difference in sound quality-juts amazing.
