This was written for a blog hence the "feel free to contact me" part. Im looking for any opinions thoughts for this short film. I figured this is a better place for it than anything goes.
Any camera experts know of a good way to get a black and white focused vibe out of my camera? 5mp Nikon cool pics camera. I have no idea how to get a longer shutter speed.

Well the basis of this short film will be a man that comes home to find his wife murdered. The killer is unknown yet leaves a calling card behind (unknown to exactly what this will be at this point). The man rushes out of his house with the calling card driving around the city desperately trying to find the killer. When his search fails he returns home to try and piece the clues together and finally inform the authorities of the murder. In the coming time he reflects on the good points in his life and tries to suppress the pain. After looking online and searching through microphish at a local library he finally gets a lead on the killer. Driving to find the killer the killer, in a twist, finds him. That is all I have planned for this short film and thats going to be the cliff hanger.
The whole aspect of the term “short film” well be dropped when you understand how I plan on shooting this “movie”. I will shoot this with a still photo digital camera in black and white. Yes, this will be a slideshow, no I am not trying to make a stop frame video. The images will be around 1 every 3-5 seconds for the important scenes and anywhere from 1-3 images per second for the dramatic action scenes. I am not trying to represent video with this... I have picked out a few composers for the music. They will be orchestral pieces and will suit the mood of the scene. There will be NO dialog. Everything you will need to know will be represented in the images and the specific parts focused on with a zoom in feature.
As of right now I dont have a title, full script, actors, or website to release this. If you would like to help with any of these aspects please contact me. I would like any and all input on this idea as writing a script is not as simple as it seems. Right now Im looking at a 25-45 minute film. There will be around 5 or 6 actors for this and only 2 main characters. If you would like to be in this film as an extra or main part feel free to contact me. I am also looking for a second photographer.
The idea behind this film came to me when reading a comic book. I liked the way ever image was important to the story and I want to create something similar. In the end if 25 people watch my video then I will reach my goal.
