Hey whats up all you graphically inclined pimps i actually have two requests neither of which are of life threatening importance, but if you had a spare moment or two any help would be much appreciated
Ive got two business possibilites for the upcoming summer here and both of them would benefit from a logo/flyer type of thing. The first is a more serious one than the second: a few friends of mine and and i are going together on a new business whos idea is to sell plasma and lcd tvs to mid sized hotel chains. we will be making a brochure using InDesign (of course...adobe is the ish) but i would like some help on a logo. The name of the company is Atlantic Technologies Ltd. the logo though should just use the acronym ATL. Any help with this would be great

The other one is less serious... im lookin to post some flyers around my town to advertise my tech support services. ive found that a lot of people really dont know squat about computers, and i can help them for much less money than geek squad or simmilar sevices. this means that we both win because i make money and they dont lose as much. id like a design for a classy looking single page with pull off numbers maybe. the thing i want to avoid is the word-clipart lookin stuff.

so yeah...nothin life threating here, but it would be sweet to get some of you really talented folk's help on these ones. thanks!

Idk if FunkyFresh has been around lately, so I don't know how quickly anyone will get to you, since he was usually the fastest (and I think, best) at doing these type of things...(I gotta suck up, he did my avatar)

Here, I threw a couple ideas together for you. Logos are my favorite, there's more to them than you'd think, and yet the goal is to not make them too complicated at all. Had to avoid ATI's design as well as Ludacris', ha!

*edit* read the reast of your post - I work at a printing press as a graphic designer, I'll do your flyer if you want . . . maybe, say, 75 bucks (you only have to pay if you want to use it). Just PM me the text you want in the flyer and general ideas of what you're looking for. You're right, clipart is lame - but I guess I forgot that it even existed until you mentioned it.

excellent ideas, msman! I sent it to my partner and he said it looked a little too computer-gameish...i thought it looked sweet. We're going for the average hotel consumer... maybe something less angular and more rounded-friendly looking? (dont get me wrong man...i thought it was awesome...but its not really up to me ) so yeah... he said something that would look good stamped on a tv (we're getting our own brand of tv made in china...)

I'll pm you about the flyers, but im anxious to see what you come up with

I threw you a PM pod man. I've got a huge project I'm working on right now, and can't justify taking myself away for it unless it's for other business. But you're welcome to use the ATL that I created.
