Well, i've been here a little over a year, about time i make myself a sig. Im sure there are folks around here who could do a better job than me, im a bit of a photoshop n00b, but i thought id give it a go, rather than whoring rep for someone to make me a sig. Basic theme is pretty obvious, frame consisting of my beloved monitor, and 3 shots of my case, as well as the specs. These are rough drafts, they still need some work, i need to make the text a bit easier to see, things like that, and i'm stilll not entirely sure about the layout, or which one i'm gonna go with, but im leaning pretty hard towards the streched one since it fits the max size... So yeah, questions, comments, snide remarks?

can't be snide about that lookin good man, very nice for a first sig!

edit: took a closer look at the wording - I would maybe change the font? almost looks like you have a 1200 instead of a 3200 but other then that, was all pretty legible.

Yeah, i really need to figure out some effect to make the text pop more. It seems like the shadow got really dark when i reduced it from the working size to the limit size...

Try a diff. font color...

One last revision before i go to bed, changed the font color and added a glow. Borrowed both the colors from the flares on the LEDs on the photos of my case. I've got a really cool action that i used for rotoscoping lightsabers once upon a time, but i'm not sure how to apply that to text, its only for shapes i think... anyways...


EDIT:I just noticed that the shadow from the text is showing on the frame, ill move that layer forward, just not now...

Another EDIT: Maybe switch the shots of my case around, so the head on shot is on the outside and the guts shot is on the inside? Opinions?

Try like a 3D blueish-slate color........make your name a larger and in front of the pics of your rig and the specs just use the current placement but with the 3D blueish-slate color.........

the last one looks pretty nice. My only real complaint is that the zeroes kind of look strange. I stared at the second line thinking "wtf is Athlon XP3 2( X )?"

And perhaps to reduce the redundancy of it, you could take out a pic or two of your computer, throw in that slick apple monitor you have

Ok, i think i fixed the issues with the zeros for the most part, i think its a lot more readable now.
