Default I'm Graphically Impaired

Yes, I openly admit that I'm graphically impaired.

I wanted to change the Dynamic Sig Image and submit it for approval or rejection. I downloaded Gimp today and managed to change the colors to something a little more feminine.

Per the instructions: http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread....ht=dynamic+sig I can only use 9 colors and I have to submit the RGB values for the colors I've used. That's where I'm stuck. I can't figure out what the values are so I can make sure I've followed the guidelines.

I've used the help feature in GIMP & GIMP online. I've googled for the "how-to" and searched PR. I'm stumped. I would really appreciate some help from the graphics masters.

This is what it looks like in GIMP:

Pretty nice. The way I did mine was to use Photoshop's "save for web" feature and save it as a 9 color gif. then open that 9 color gif in PS again and start eye-dropping to get color values.

ok, I've been dinkin with this thing long enough, GIMP and I are not friends.
(feel free to laugh - it's ok.)

I'm leaving the graphics to the pro's.
If someone could please make a purple sig that I could use, within the guidelines and similar to the one I posted, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you can be a bit more specific on what you are looking for or want I can see what I can do. Not sure what the requirements are for the folding sig. So if you can tell me that also, it would help.

Here is the "readme" file from GK's requirements for the dynamic folding sig:

http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread....ht=dynamic+sig

"These templates will help guide you when creating new sig images. The images MUST BE the same exact dimensions as one of the two provided templates and also must have the fields available for data in the same places as is already in the templates.

There is a catch to creating these. These need to be images with a strict pallette. When submitting your image you also must submit the RGB values for the colors you used. How many colors can you use? 9. So, if you used black and white you would have 7 colors left to use. The script that builds the dynamic images on the fly needs the color RGB values to build the images correctly. White would be 255,255,255 and black would be 0,0,0. And so on...
Submit your entry to glitterkill@pcapex.com. If I decide to use your submitted sig template then I will notfy you when doing so and will publish credit to you as the author.
Have fun and I am interested to see what you guys come up with!
- GlitterKill"

I couldn't figure out how many colors I had used and what the "values" of those colors were.

(I'm suprised I actually managed to change the colors using GIMP ) I was going to attach the png file but it's too big even when zipped.

Thank you for your help.

Here is a starting point. Since I am not sure what you want besides the color you mentioned, this is a quick draft. Only made some minor changes, but it will give me a point or referance.

Tell me what you like, don't like, want different, etc. Check everything: Fonts, colors, design, etc.

I see the magical fingers of Foe have been busy.
Very nice, feminine but not too girly. Like me.
Could you make the font stand out more, maybe white or a darker purple?
I'm not sure which would look better.
and thank you thank you thank you for taking the time to do this.

Sorry it took me awhile Que, but here is something that is custom, and matches your avatar. See if it is what you're looking for, and we'll get the pertinent information to GK.

Glad you like it, and you're welcome.

Here is the information for GK, if you could pass it along, then you can start using it.
There are two colors used:
White - R:255 G:255 B:255
Purple - R:72 G:50 B:88

Email this information to GK along with the sig itself, and he will get back to you. glitterkill@pcapex.com

He can let me know if anything needs changing or if he needs more infomration.
