Default Flash MX randomly crashing.

While I'm using Flash MX 2004, it will randomly lock up and crash. The general trend seems to be every 15-20 minutes, but it has varied. It's really pissing me off because I'd like to finish as much as I can on a little project I'm doing before i leave for Antigua on monday... Seriously though, any ideas on why this is happening? I haven't found any help via Google or Macromedia support so far, but I'll keep trying.

Reinstalling could help also, there could be a million reasons why its crashing. I had a corel program that would crash all of the time. Turns out that it didnt like having multiple projects open at the same time.

Is your system freshly installed? Is the application freshly installed? It's hard to say really since it's so much that can cause crashes.

The only problem I've ever had with graphical applications on the PC would be Photoshop crashing all the time. That ofcourse was when I was running windows 3.11 photoshop in windows 95...

I've had far more problems with graphical applications crashing on Mac than on PC, back when I used to work with QuarkXpress on a PowerPC, I had to save every 5 minutes (wich is a good habit anyway).

Right, I'm sorry. Forgot to include the usuals. Like I said, it was pretty random when things were happening, so i can't give one specific thing, but it has happened when editing bezier curves with the little vector point thingies and creating alpha-based motion tweens on some images. I just reinstalled the program earlier today, and my current XP SP2 Corp. install is about 6 months old (lost the damn CD again ) It's a P4 2.8, 768mb RDRAM, 128mb 9600xt, Intel D850EMV2, and all the other crap. It seems to be pretty infrequent now, but I'm still impulsively snapping off a few Ctrl-S' now and then.
