| Well, I'm thinking of making a complete custom case for use in a near-future mod but I want to create some decent AutoCAD-format files of it (if you must know, I intend for it to look like the Scanner in HL2-the thing that flies around and blinds you). Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for most CAD programs? More importantly, are there even any good open-source CAD programs out there, kinda like the GIMP is? Thanks guys. | ||

| not that i know of, im guessing youre getting at a free one and i cant really help ya there. autocad programs are usually expensive, and this side of pirating youre very most likley not gonna find a free way to do it. (notice mods that that sentence does not support piracy, just making an observation). | ||

| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | Depending on how long you are going to need it, I have a demo (licensed Demo FROM AutoCAD) that I could mail to you, or you could just go to the site and request one. It will only last 30 days, and you would have to get them all done before that, but it is always an option Tom OOps....just noticed this was a semi-dead thread | |
