I have a picture that I would like to use as my avatar, however, I do not have the ability to resize it. I used adobe photoshop 2... yeah.... to crop it to the appropriate shape, but I don't see anyway that I can resize it to fit into the avatar restrictions. Can someone please help me out here?

go up to image, image size, you can change size and resolution as well as reshape etc...

Ok my bad, it's not even photoshop 2, its photoshop album 2.0 starter edition

there is no image button at the top, just a fix button. all it will let me do is crop, but the pic I want to use is still 454kb and 936 x 972 pixels.

send it to me and I'll do it for you, or if you have MS office it should have a image editor.

got MSN hit me up and i can crop it to the 140 X 140 size that you want for you!

EDIT i have Photoshop 7!

I'm sure this has been solved by now, but for those just reading this...

If you're running Windows XP (not sure if this will work in older versions) you can use MS Paint. Just click on Image, Stretch/Skew and change the horizontal and vertical stretch percentages. If you want exact pixel sizes, you might have to do a little math, but it's cheaper than buying photoshop.

P.S. Go ahead and buy SOMETHING....lol
