Default Maya case render/Idea........

Well its the first case render I have done in maya. I think it turned out pretty nice......

Heres the lowdown on whats what on it. The yellow curved surface is going to be a plexiglass cube built from scratch with rounded corners. Then sandblasted and frosted.

The grey plates on it are going to be pieces of aluminum cut and bolted to the plexi. Then theere will be yellow led's put behind the plexi to illuminate it.

On the front theres going to be the Amaru cross not that cross. I couldent quite get the shape down in maya, its kinda tricky. On the side I will paint makaveli with a shadow behind it like that.

On the top there will be a handle, not to sure on what kind or anything. So I just added a very basic design handle.

On the inside I have some good ideas that if I ever build this case will be very cool. Not telling those.

Point of this thread.....What do you guys think of the renderings?? Luna_Mods maybe give me some tips on what I did wrong, how to do it better. (the main square is a nurbs cube, not poly)

Also what do you think of the design of the case?

BTW - Those screws arent proportional to what they would really be, i messed up on that. Its alot of work to make each one smaller.

ADD :: The first image was edited a little bit in photoshop, added the makaveli logo and put a glow behind the cross......NOt sure on the color of the cross yet......

I don't think the design works. It doesn't look right for some reason. Maybe because of the yellow.
