Well, I haven't been around much lately, and here's on of the reasons why. I give you... R.E.X. It's based off a sketch from a friend of mine, and I PSed it to this. C&C would be much appreciated.

I'm liking the ideas. But, since this is for robotics, instead of blood, oil. Keep the ideas coming, I like where it's going.

Well, same difference. We're facing off against other robots in competition. What team really wants to have 6 weeks of hard work chewed up and spit out? Still cool though

The nose needs to be slightly longer, not so fat, and sharper. Right now it looks like a metal Barney.

Okay. Sorry for the wait, I've been down the last couple days. All the input has been awesome, and I've made some changes. I made the teeth bigger, added some dried oil, enhanced my grunge layer just a wee bit, and made the eye a nice yellow-green. BA, you have an interesting and funny point. I may work on the snout some this weekend, intil then, we're stuck with barney's evil twin.

Question: Does anyone know how to save a detailed grayscale image into a vector format that a laser-etching machine could use?

man that looks good ,great job. One thing though you might want to play with is darken the eye a little, the contrast is to strong compaired to the overall image.
