I took better pictures of campus than the university.

This thread will be stickied after we start photographing models.


Here are a couple from last week I shot.

Tonight we had our last football game for the season for my school I graduated from, and it was my brother's last game too. And thus I used this opportunity to take some pictures.....

this is a digicam, a Kodak 5mp. It sucks at night shots, it is VERY extremely diffucult to get a good night shot, a tripod is almost required. The shutter is held open too long because it needs more light in night mode. So the fact that these shots came out this good in these light settings should make me a Photography Pimp. Or maybe a marksman.

I have also decided to start titling my work.

These first two are my favorites for the night, because it's of someone doing the exact same thing I'm doing. In the second shot I got her subject in it too.

This was staged. One of the many police officers at the night handcuffed one of the DJ's to the fence and had us all take pictures of what looked like her beating the crap out of him but they were goofy poses



And finally, no football game is complete without a final score, except for the fact my batteries died at the end of the game, so I shot this at the top of the 4th quarter. It was a home game and the final score was like 56 and 22.

Somehow though the visiting team is going to the playoffs and we aren't.

Alright, Time for me to try at this. Its about the middle-end of fall, so I took some pics. The sky was blue, really blue....

Here goes, tell me what you think(these pics are 1.6MB each...blah..)


I messed with the exposure on the camera. I wanted to show the trees outside, so this is the result.



A pic of the sky. Its blue


I took a pic of the cat on the window sil from the outside.


Intresting effect I got when I turned the Exposure all the way down to -2. I get a dot in the middle of the sun..odd


2nd pic of the sun. This time I moved the camera A bit more, and the result is the corona (the other white thingy) I think it came out good. It made it look like night.


I like this one the best. Its fractal in a way, showing the shadow of the deck

It not a good idea to look directly at the sun through your DSLR camera because it can cause damage to your camera. FYI

Today was rather interesting. I took more pictures of the Stingray with my dad's 5.0mp Kodak.

I think it's time I signed up for photography classes at the local college. I'm too damn good at this.

Quicktime Video of the Sting-Ray in action

This video was shot with me holding the digicam with one hand and a handlebar with the other. I had a strong tailwind pushing me down the side of this bridge and traffic moving me along as well. I would have got much higher speeds if I could have both hands on the bars.

I have been working on a design for a helmet cam for a while now. The bike rattles and vibrates too much for a good mount spot, and not to mention wheelies? Omg I think I would kill a camera if I attached it to my bike and tried to do a wheelie.

my dad came down to visit and we went to the Kitty Hawk and the Outter Banks (OBX) today here in NC

Thats a nice pic of one of my most favorite vacation spots.
We vacation in Manteo every year.
